I’ve been playing around with loads for my M70 375 and finally figured a load, right around the same time I figured how to shoot it. I’m used to prs style rifles which are north of 13lbs, not big magnums and large effective brakes attached, so this took a little getting used to. The rifle does not recoil much, but it’s much more than my 28 nosler which is the last rifle I spent time on the bench working loads .

I found that stock placement in the shoulder really makes a huge difference in felt recoil. 1/2 inch to the left or right off the crease of the shoulder will feel substantially worse on the bench.

I tried 300 gr A frames and they were just ok, maybe 1.5 at 100 yards. I switched to 300 gr Barnes and found a substantial improvement. 72 gr of H4350 with hornady brass, and slightly compressed load. I’m pretty consistent under .75 off the bench/prone and under 2.5 off sticks. September can’t come fast enough.
First is prone and second is off sticks, both at 100 yards

Load development done. Good shooting.
