A Black Friday Deal-
Up for sale is likely the most accurate shooting rifle in my collection, a Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 280 Ackley Improved. I'm asking $1750 for the rifle without the scope. Shipping and insurance will be additional. I am open to offers. The rifle will ship from my FFL to yours.
If you really want the scope too, we can figure that out, however, I'd prefer to keep it for another rifle.
It was hunted one season and shows no appreciable damage.
I broke the rifle barrel in per Christensen's guidelines. Christensen guarantees a minute accuracy with factory ammo and I just got that with Nosler ammunition. My better groups were with .280 Remington hand loads while I was fire forming brass. Recently Ive been shooting 175 grain sierra boat tails and finished those off at yesterday's turkey shoot. Per my reloading notes, I was working on a load with 160 grain partition that was showing some real promise, .75 inch at 125 yards (just happened to be the distance I was shooting that day). That was with Reloder 22. Due to the unavailability of R22, I started fooling with H4831SC and that is where I stopped for the season.
Reason for sale; I thought I wanted a 280AI with a 26 inch barrel. However after hunting with it in my style of hunting, 26 inches is too long for the forests and brush that I like to hunt. I will use the proceeds towards my next build, likely another 280AI with a 24 inch barrel.
