hi y'all
when i signed up last December I said I was headed to Cameroon in February for LDE and Savannah buff. several asked for a report and I said I would but i aint very computer savvy and never got it done. here's a shot at it.

i aint much of traveler and traveling to Cameroon during Covid just plain sucks.
after a mean trip in the hunting was great. food was great and we killed some really awesome game. we were with Club Faune about 6-7 hours north of Garoua on the rey river. next door to their national game park.
in the 12 days of hunting i killed a 50 inch LDE ,a big red Buff , sing sing waterbuck, kob, oribi, grey duiker, red flanked duiker, a hartebeest and a korrigum.
trip home was even more brutal than getting there due to delays and such. It was an extremely remote hunt but accommodations were what i would consider exceptional for where we were. me and one buddy went and took our wives. it was safe and friendly we never knew what they was saying in french but all the locals in town and in the bush were very friendly. i'll try to send pics after this post

Thank you for posting, you sure did condense that bugger lol !

Still great to read about you success & would love to see pics of you animals, more so that Eland Bull & Red Bull.

A dream of mine, but way out of my price league & only way is if I worked for some one (no French) or did a self guided hunt & no way would you find a 45-50in in a open area & my contact over there has passed away now, both actually as had a Kiwi guy in the know to .

Surprised you took you Wives in these troubled times as a few Bad guys floating around up that way !

i cant get these pics to go through this little feller is all i got to load? we had no troubles at all with the wives my wife is 40 and ranch raised dont mind the woods a bit. the other lady on the trip is 73 and really active no troubles other than about 8 days in she had an allergic reaction to the malaria meds and got puny.

aint sure if that worked or not let me know someone if the pics are up

the korrigum was really cool I don't know if it was true or they was blowing smoke up our butts they told us there was only about 8-9 permits for Korrigum in all of Africa last year and we killed 2 seemed like good ones?

it was the trip of a lifetime for sure. I enjoy seeing everyone else's stuff on here and enjoy reading all the hunting talk. I'll sure respond and answer any questions i can. may take me a day or two since I got to work some cows for a few days.

Pics came through fine. Very nice trip !

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
