You'd have to take this shot (the white mark), it's the last time you'll see him this way; with his next move you'll only see his backside while running off! He's too close to present his broadside.
This shot will strike the top of the heart and hit lungs. The follow up won't be difficult.

Angles are very important when shooting an animal. The heart is in the middle of the chest, right between the shoulders. From any angle, when you see 2 front legs, your shot needs to placed in a straight line through the middle of them.
Just never take a going away shot on the left side of a Buffalo - most of the time that shot will end up in the rumen with NO effect, but wounding with one of the worst follow-ups.

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
