I ate a tag sandwich this year! Passed on 2 small bucks, despite not being known for my restraint! I had a wonderful time hunting with my son, who showed his old man up by shooting an 8 point, and of course @Jeff505. Now, the planning starts for our duck hunt in Texas in 2 months!

Decided not to shoot barely legal bucks--seems the big boys had the does tended and didn't want to come in to rattling, etc. Shot two young spikes and a couple of turkeys (and a nice bobcat) out near Throckmorton, TX. Gotta let em grow if they are to get big. Soaked up about 4 days camping.
