I find that the factory bases and low 1" rings are still on the tall side for a good cheek weld.

Can you recommend something lower? Perhaps EAW or some such? Hopefully still QD but I would carry an Allen key or screwdriver if I had to.

What's the lowest you can get in any diameter?

I believe the Blaser Scope/rail mount will be the lowest option. I myself use the detachable low profile 30mm with Leupold VX-6HD on all my Blaser set ups and have had no problems.

What's the objective diameter of your scope?
I once procured for a hunting buddy two Blaser mounts, one original, one aftermarket, 1 inch tube scope with 42 diameter.
The original was a bit lower.
For me, his stock with that mount was still a little too high and uncomfortable.
An added cheek cushion on the stock might help you, and it's much cheaper that anything else
Internal rail scopes tend sometimes to sit slightly lower.

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.
