Perseverance pushes a shorebird flying from Alaska to its final destination an ocean away

A bar-tailed godwit tracked by scientists flew 1,200 miles before hitting headwinds and turning back to Alaska. Last week it finally made it all the way to New Zealand.

Canada geese have been short stopping their migration for as long as I can remember. From what I see around my environs, they've said the hell with it and just stay here all year long.
