If anyone knows of some elephant or hippo hides crust or finished I would like to explore the possiblity to make something, trade or buy them from you.

I would normally need more than 3 ft. of leather as the value is quite small. Do you have any other hide

Can you send a picture of the piece so I can see the grain? Might nbe worth a small leather good.

A note of caution, I have been seeing many hides from African tanners that are over measured by 20-25%, I think it's best that hunters have their hides tanned and verified for measuremnets as they often are charging as much as US. $8-10 per sq.ft.. If you have them tanned into natural (pearl) crust hide please check with me before you decide what to do with them, it might be better to have them sent back with your trophys.
