It's in California. Presumably they colored it green and call it a riffle to stay a step ahead of the gun-grabbers?

Saw one worse than that the other day. It was an otherwise decent looking hundred plus year old model 95 Winchester lever action that had been threaded for some sort of muzzle device!!
I asked the seller what kind of moron does stuff like that?!?!

As much as I hate people painting nice wood, especially oak cabinets, this is nothing a little time a sandpaper won’t fix.
But good heavens, why paint nice wood.

I don't know what the stock is made of, but since there is no checkering evident, it's clearly not an original Ruger stock.
