A cool haul from Els & Co

I liked the looks of Els & Co leather and had noticed that they private label items for some companies out there. So I emailed to ask if they would custom label a couple of items for me.

The answer was yes!

I sent them artwork and they made a die and stamped a couple of bullet carriers for me. In addition to that I ordered a couple of multi-tool holders as gifts for trackers for my upcoming trip. I figured they would prefer the legit Els logo versus mine, so didn't have them custom stamped. In any case they're great folks and I appreciated their willingness to customize things for me to make them truly my own!

Everything arrived today and I couldn't be happier!

Very nice! I especially like the ammo carrier with the tab that tucks in. It reminds me of a similar one which was made from wool felt. No brass stud = no scratches on the gun stock.

That too. Now you have me curious -- does the interior incorporate loops for individual cartridges, or is it open? If loops, are they leather or elastic?

These photos aren't great but basically the case of the shell is supported by an aperture at the top of the carrier. The bullet goes into a leather loop down below which you can barely see in the second photo. You might think it would be easy to "miss" the bullet loop but I've found that it goes in properly with no problem. There's a lot that goes into making these.
