Hi all,

I'm buying an old Ferlach 7x57 (apparently) but am confused about the barrel markings as nothing indicates it being a 7x57 and a lot of gunshops here just take the word of the seller and don't always check (nor have the ability to check chamber sizes!)..

irrespective, the rifle I'm buying is marked as follows, and I'm hoping anyone can shed light on their meanings please.

NPf - Nitro Proof Ferlac I'm quite certain
followed by: 10 21.45 D.295.45
on the other side: 5A?? 9.0g.

many thanks for any input

on a side note..the other side might faintly,,,very faintly say 7/57 9.0g ...if that's the case would it be 7/57 is 7x57 and 9g stipulates it was regulated and proofed at 139g bullet weights?

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.

I will take the knife for $250 shipped. Please tell me how you would like the payment.

Thanks-
