Hell friends...recently got a new 7mm PRC I plan on taking with me back to Limcroma in May. Was curious what people's thoughts were on the 160gr Hornady CX bullets out of this gun? I usually take my 300 with 168gr Barnes TTSX, but wanted a shorter barreled lighter gun, so went with the Bergara Crest in 7 PRC.

Just looking for comments on people who have used the CX and the results they observed with that bullet. If the gun doesn't shoot to my liking with CX, I will more than likely load up some TTSX or LRX. Appreciate your time and insight!

I have shot a few animals with the 120 gr 6.5 and my wife has shot 10 animals with the 185 GMX in her 338. The bulle6ts have held together perfectly and the few recovered look like a bullet advertisement. I wouldn't have any reservations using a 160 CX in your 7PRC or a 7 REM MAG

Was kind of my thoughts as well. My buddy took a 300 PRC last year and shot 190gr CX and they did great. I shot 168gr Barnes TTSX out of my 300 and they did really well too. Was just looking to try something a little different I guess.

I used factory 162gr ELD-x ammo with my 28 Nosler last April. 10 animals up to Blue Wildebeest size at ranges from 90yds (warthog) to 712yds (Nyala) with devastating results. Most shots beyond 300yds. I'd say Hornady's 175gr ELD-X would be even more impressive, and would ballistically very similar in performance to the 7PRC. All but a blesbuck (450yds and turned as I shot) were 1 shot, no track kills. I will say shot placement is more critical with that bullet design but if you can get that pill in to the diaphragm it turns everything in to mush.
I developed a laser accurate load with the Berger 180gr VLD but didn't like its performance on a cow elk. It penciled right through her so I went with factory.

I'd look at the 175 gr too.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
