458 Lott with Peregrine Solids Load data?

Hi All, anyone have load data for 458 Lott wit Peregrine 500 gr VRG-2 solids and VRG3 softs with Vihtavuori N550 powder or maybe willing to run a Quickload for me ?

Also anyone used Gordons Reloading Tool ? Freeware copy of Quickload it seems. If I can get a Quickload file, I will compare it to the Gordons results or maybe just publish it here. Freware and things that go bang-I think I am right to be a little cautious- hehe.

Hi Nhoro, I load the 500grain vrg3 in my CZ 458 Lott using 75grains of Vithavouri N530. This is the grouping I am getting with open sights and my not so great eyes at 25 meters. Hope this helps

My 458 Lott with Peregrine VRG3 , i use the 450g bullet in both VRG2 and VRG3 (they have the same point of impact)
Target was at 50m

i need to correct this last post of mine , this was fired with my 416 Rigby and a 340g Peregrine , i will post the photo of my Lott which was very similar.

Thanks for the data, if only we could still get S.....anything anymore. Have to resort to imported propellants for the moment

Nhoro, just a quick check but on QL with 80gr of N550 and Cartridge length of 92.5mm 102.4% case filled if case takes 110gr of H2O will give you a speed of 2150fps and no pressure at all.

But normally QL is not as acurrate as predicted.

I had to squeeze in more powder than QL prediction to get the speed I wanted out of my lott.

N550 will not be my first choice in powder something a bit faster like Norma 203B or N540
