.375 should be banned from buffalo hunts!

@spike.t
The Hilux seat seem to be just bolted to the floor. I've sat in mini minors with higher driver seats.
The Hilux when you hit a bump it feels like the floor pan is hitting you in the arse the seats are that low.

The Nissan 720 pickup were not much better.
But being 6 6 that stright to the petal and being able to slide the 720 seat back to tuch the little jump seat in the back worked ok
Until you hit a hole

That's like saying use enough 243. To me nothing you do to a land crab can make it the equal of a Nissan Patrol. Don't get me started on the Toyota HiLux. The clown that designed that built the vehicle then decided on the seating. The driver's seat is that low your legs are almost straight out when you sit in it. The ergonomics for the driver leave a lot to be desired.

Bob you are crazy saying this sort of stuff, you can’t beat Toyota - especially Land Cruiser & a second runner up Hilux !

@Sarg
Being a Nissan owner ( aka Toyota recovery vehicle) we love paying out in ANY other brand especially Toyota.

No calibre will offset poor shot placement. What is true, though, the larger calibre increases the permissible margin of error i.e an iffy shot has a bigger impact.

Also, comparing 400g projectile in 416 to 300g in 375 is 2 very significant variables, caliber & projectile

The 375 probably ranks in the top 10 calibres for taking big & dangerous game. I recall seeing elephant cull footage in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), dropping them with single shots using old FN's in 308

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
