Just sharing a load we tried today.

Tikka T3 .308 Winchester
Remington Brass
CCI BR-2 Primers
44.0gr RL15
165gr Accubonds

After a couple of shots, I adjusted the scope to shoot 2" high at 100 yards. Fired next shot and that's just what I got. Austin fired the next three. The first sat on top of mine, the next wedged to the left in between the first two and the next wedged to the right in between the first two. Made a nice ace of diamonds pattern, would measure somewhere between 0.6 and 0.7 inch.

I use 46.0 grs of RL15 in my 338/06 with 225 Accubonds for 1 MOA all day long from a rifle I made in my garage on an old Rem700 action. Don't know the speed until I get my crony out later this summer. Only Accubonds and Partitions shoot well in this rifle. Why? I have no idea but those 2 shoot very well compared to all others.

43 grains of R15 gives me 2600 fps from a 20 inch barrell carbine (1:12 bt) with 1 to 1,5 MOA any given day

I shoot a great deal of long range where the 308 dominates. The vast majority of shooters use Varget. The go to powder for 308 and temperature insensitive as well

Agreed on temp sensitivity. Not long after I made this post I found out just how finicky the Alliant offerings are when the temp jumped nearly 20 degrees. Varget just seems to be the cats meow, for accuracy 44gr with whatever 165gr bullet you choose is the load.
