What a great rifle. I had the exact same rifle, same vintage as me. The action, trigger and balance of these old M70’s are legendary for a reason.

It's crazy the different nomenclatures they have for different calibers. I have one just a couple years older (1951) and it says 30 Govt 06

Cannot beat these ole warhorses though.
