  • Hello.
I was talking with Tom and he said he hunted Lion with you . I was wanting to know the cost to shoot Lions these days as I hear the prices have dropped a lot.
I hunted with Tam Safaris several years back and got a big male.
I am coming over to South Africa again next year in Aug and may want to shoot another one.
What are the costs these days for a big male.?
Let me know what you think.

Hi Kendog, excuse my very late reply do not know how I missed this!
2017 I am sure to assist with good prices.....at the end of January 2017 I will know for sure.....if things turn out my way by then - you would look at $8500 for a male (4 to 5 years old)....send me your email adrs please so I can add you on our mailing list.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
