Those little cuddly ones are most likely the tenderest. Snatch and grab will have a whole new meaning.

I'm cheering for the Coyote.

I know what I would do if I were there.... anybody have a suppressor I can use???
Reminds me of the people in Taos, New Mexico, they wouldn't tolerate someone taking out a coyote.

They will snivel and squeal, but won't do anything.

They should leave the coyote alone. I have a pair that live behind me, and they are wonderful at keeping down the yappy little dogs that some of my neighbours used to have!

The bigger issue is that the people who are scared of coyotes or want them taken out to protect their dogs are generally the same ones who think African people should live with lions, elephants, etc. in their backyards. Wildlife is great . . . so long as it's somewhere else.

Living 60 miles from manhattan and working there everyday, there are plenty of people who would love to smoke that bad boy in a second. They actually make it down to the city more often than mentioned via the railroad tracks. I work on the rails and see them dead every now and then. Best thing in my opinion is a 12 foot wide meteor striking midtown at 2 am

Not really amazing, just a repeat of so many urban vs. rural divides and feelings vs. reality. The city dwellers have developed a sense of security, have developed a sense of what "feels right". The city folks have relative safety, the thought of the nature of animals is a hindsight.

Look at the historic range of the wolf in North America. Portlandia, my nearest urban center would be in it. There are already coyotes there in the (sub)urban center. Folks there wonder why kitty didn't come home. Would they vote to re-introduce the wolf into the PDX metropolis? Why not? It is within the natural home range of the animal... Yet the urban populace votes to allow wolves and coyote to run rampant in rural areas where the farmers/ranchers suffer losses.

Why not accept them into your land, which is within their native range, if you are so forward thinking?

They're worried about a coyote and they are the same people that live with their rats and cockroaches?

I have been there and some of the rats look as big as cats and I won't even start with the cockroaches.

In my opinion they need a lot more coyotes there.

I posted this and live 15 miles from NYC in New Jersey. I have a ton in my backyard next to a golf course but people don’t say anything until they take a dog. Imagine if it was a leopard, lion or elephant. Most people in the us don’t realize what it takes to live next to African animals but they can bitch from their couches

So. The answer is to introduce several breeding grey wolf packs to Central Park to control the coyotes in a "natural" manner. Add in a few Grizzly for effect. Whilst your at it, you could also create a lifeboat project for endangered African wildlife by importing several elephant herds and a lion pride or two (everyone has got to do their bit to safeguard endangered wildlife). See, problem solved

I can't wait till one grabs one of those Liberal's annoying little yapping pedigree dogs in broad daylight! They will scream bloody murder for it to be removed......such hypocrites!

New York has another “Park” a bit north of NYC 6 million acres declared “Forever Wild” by the NYS Constitution….My home the Adirondack Mountains…
DEC Biologists tell us the Coyotes here are part Red Wolf?
