Interested in a Giraffe Rifle Sling, depending on asking price.
Be keen to see photos of Giraffe hide slings. I don’t think I’ve seen them although I’ve seen other hides incorporated in rifle slingsInterested in a Giraffe Rifle Sling, depending on asking price.
WE HAVE REALLY NICE DRESS BELTS AND GUNLEATHER BELTS AND HOLSTERS MADE FROM HAIR OFF GIRAFFE. JUST HAS TO BE "SKIVED" DOWN TO WORKABLE.Giraffe skin is very thick. I'd be curious to see a sling made of the hide.
Gorgeous examples @Noah HutchensI’m having a leather company in South Africa make me 4 slings and a few gun cases out of my giraffe I hunted this year. It will be similar in design to these ones I sent him as an example I found online. Mine will be padded with a thumb hole as well. They don’t take up much leather so if you are unsuccessful in sourcing one I can have him make one more for you. They are 1,500 Rand each so around $90 I believe. I will say the ones he makes from me will be a lot darker not light like the example photo
Interesting.I would say #1 is definitely a giraffe. And I would say #3 is a Blesbok. I think he got'em all right. #1 looks exactly as I would expect a giraffe sling to look like.
I really like the looks of the giraffe sling and went order one of his website. Looks like you can't do that. Do you just call them?Well, i'm glad I was wrong and that you guys are all smarter than me. Because I liked all of them but just still didn't think they were what I had ordered.
I think i'm going to still try to order a more traditionally colored giraffe sling.
If anyone is in the market for exotic rifle slings, I was very impressed with the quality overall of everything. Soft cape buffalo leather on all of them. Given the quality $100/each was a fair price.
