Hawke Vantage HD 30 1-8x24 on 416 REM Mag

Hey folks I have acquired a couple of the Hawke Vantage HD30 1-8’s in deal - my questions will these scope hold of to 416 REM mag or Rigby and 375 Ruger recoil. I’d like to try them on next trip to South Africa but not that familiar with them. Any help would be appreciated !!! Thanks !!

I’m not sure it would be my first choice, but I hunted with a camp gun (.375 HH) with a Hawke on it that had withstood a ton of abuse over years.

I've got that scope on a 375H&H. No issues. Better eye relief than most other makers these days as well. Was going to put one on a 458 Lott, but went with a Trijicon with the green triangle post instead. I've put Hawke scopes on 5 rifles so far. Really like them. Clear glass with consistent movement.

I have said somewhere on the forum before that Hawke make a lot of springer airgun scopes. As crazy as it sounds, springer airguns are scope destroyers- some theorise that it is the double recoil, back and forward of the spring which wrecks a scope. In a nutshell, they makes strong scopes and I am confident that you will get good service.
