Just a short report of my first sika hunt and first hunt in the Czech Republic. I'm most definitely not a story writer.
I've had a great but short hunt staying in the town of Chyse.
I only booked bronze or below for a good representative animal if possible.
The area hunted was all free range with animals sighted every outing.
Sika, fallow, and mouflon.
Today is my 3rd day here and I've taken my sika and a cull female. Other hunters have taken 2 sika stags with one just below silver level and a mouflon was taken this morning also.
GT hunting was a good outfit with good food and lodging and multiple capable and friendly guides.
I look forward to coming back for mouflon in the future.

I frankly enjoy hunting Europe as much as I do Africa. I typically hunt for four days or so and then we play tourist for ten. Congrats on a lovely sika.
 
I should have mentioned my shot was about 130 meters from the high seat right at dark.
But the other hunter got his mid afternoon stalking and calling.

I agree, Africa provides more shot opportunities but the history and culture in Europe is amazing.
 
could you give more info on the outfitter
 
Nice sika! Congrats! I leave for Prague tomorrow and begin hunting on the 8th for sika, mouflon and red stag... your report was timely, thanks for taking the time to post it.
 
1 mouflon was missed on the morning hunt by one hunter and no shot taken by the other hunter on a good sika that he just couldn't get comfortable with the shot.
