Those are very very nice. I had the opportunity at one point comparing a vintage Rigby BG to a Magnum actioned Jeffrey in 404. It had orange Silvers and not a horn butt though. It balanced absolutely beautifully with that lighter barrel but I guess it possibly comes at a price. One of my biggest regrets not buying that one when I had the opportunity.
your is built like mine , the only difference is that mine was built without a cheekpiece like as per original spec. this is now a custom order yet it has less bells and whistles
standard length will do they have been built by Jeffery using both magnum or military converted standard

Gorgeous, I wish I was in a position to have grabbed one of these with the few extras when they first came out. I think they were close to half the price they are now.

jeffery used magnum actions for 404 and 333 yet they also built plenty on converted military actions lighter models ,take downs they require more gunsmithing than the oberndorf magnum but they work just like a 375 does in a standard length action ,350 magnums were mostly built on SSB magnum actions tho ive seen at least one ,I owned a 333 on a SSB it seemed like overkill for the round but I would want it on a 404 original commercial oberndorf mauser actions and magazines were blueprinted for each individual round action numbers 1 THRU 20 I would used them as bench mark the did not cut anything close just to get it done or to be light weight
