Which firearm do you have to most fun shooting

I am ashamed to admit but my Sako S20 in 6.5 creed with the PRS style stock is by far my favorite rifle to shoot. It shoots tiny groups and can be adjusted to fit me like a glove. It is a typical plastic fantastic rig...

It was more than 40,000 for sure, but could have been in the 50-60,000 range. It still ran flawlessly, but accuracy fell off very noticeably.

Fwiw - I use Mobil 1 0-20W on the firing pin spring and main spring. Brian Enos’ Slide Glide is great for the slide and rails. Everything else receives Lucas Red’N Tacky grease, which is $5 for a big tube. Brian’s Slide Glide appears to be Lucas Red’n Tacky with a bit of oil added to thin it.

Change the recoil spring at least every 4-5,000 rounds and the main spring and firing pin spring at 8,000 - 10,000, so every other time the recoil spring is changed. Wolff sells a pack with all the needed springs. For mags, Wilson Combat ETM are the only mags I will carry. For carry mags, change the springs when you swap recoil springs. It may not be necessary, but it is cheap insurance.

I prefer, my never ending quest for perfection. OCD just doesn’t sound as accurate.
 
My favourite is my .500NE, no rifle brings a smile faster on my face than pulling the triggers on this sexy beast.

I don’t know that it’s my favorite… but I had a ball launching a few hundred rounds through my suppressed 10/22 this past weekend…

Stupid quiet, non existent recoil.. and accurate enough to whack empty Gatorade bottles offhand at 50 yards… what’s not to like? :)
 
Ah yes, the suppressed 10/22, where the action makes more noise than the 22 going off! I have an uncle who leaves his custom Anshutz in the closet in order to enjoy his tricked out 10/22.
 
I'd have to split my 'favorite' to my little Ruger precision 22 when my daughter and I compete on my little dualing tree, (I get handicapped with the bolt gun while she runs her AR 15/22) and my 500 S&W pc. That thing makes me grin every time I touch the bang switch lol! Then I think about the price of the ammo that just went bang and I cry a little. But then I shoot again and grin, then cry a little... it's a vicious cycle but it's all kinda fun too.
 
Ruger 10/22. It’s cheap fun and I can shoot it all day. Some years ago I got tired of pretending heavy recoil is fun. Plus trying to hit a steel plate at 200 yards with an iron sight 22 it a fun game with friends. The less I send on ammo the more I can save for hunting!
 
My HK SL7 is one of my favorites. I just like the old school look and it is a blast to shoot. Most people have no idea what it is. Want to pick up an SL6 in .223 one of these days to go with it.

H&k made fantastic rifles like this based of the delayed roller bolt. I have a few and love them. Even way back these were allot of money. Try finding a Hk91 now. Lol

I could find one pretty easily, but the Peoples Republic of New York frowns upon the common folk owning such things.
 
For rifles, probably my Standard Arms Model G. I got one in 25 remington and liked it so much I got another in 35 remington. That's the 35 with the deer and the 25 with the hog. It is unique in that it is a gas operated semi auto designed consciously to be able to run as a normal pump action in case of parts breakage or for whatever other reasons you may want your semi-auto to run as a pump by turning off the gas block. It is to my knowledge, the first gas operated semi-auto rifle designed specifically for hunting in the US, though not the first semi-auto hunting rifle generally.

I moved from NY a couple years ago. Save yourself and Move - Not Kidding- But i was referring to the cost. I bought my 91’s for about $800-900 They are about $2500-3000 now .
