Montana Rifle Company TSAVO in .375 H&H - Shooting!!!

Count me in as a buyer if, and when you chamber the TSAVO in 404J! I inherited a sporterized Enfield chambered in 30/338 that I was planning on converting to 404J, but I'd rather buy a TSAVO manufactured in my home state.

I would love to take a TSAVO chambered 404J on the Buffalo hunt I'm planning for 2028.
 
I believe that the "All-Weather" version of the rifle will be called the Brooks, not the Tsavo. This is based on conversations at SCI in Nashville the last 2 years. I'd be temped to get one of them in .375 when they come out. Right now I'm trying to decide whether to wait for the .416, or go ahead with a Tsavo in .375. If they'd have come out sooner then I'd have absolutely jumped on a .375 Tsavo, but they arrived too late for me to take one on my Safari this year.
 
I shot a Tsavo 375H&H two weeks ago and it was gold! Had a light weight Anechox suppressor on it and the recoil was surprisingly mild. Moderate bark. Just ordered one last week and hope to get it this weekend. I’m a lefty but shoot righty actions so much that a lefty action would seem weird. Still deciding what suppressor and loads to try first. Ordered some Barnes TSX 235gr and Hornady 300gr bonded factory loads to try. Might be putting a SilencerCo Hybrid46M on it and trying the short and long configurations to see what it likes.
 
Has anyone heard the latest on the 416 RM production dates? I know the 458 Lott is on their website as pending so that's first in line but curious if there is an ETA on the 416 RM now.
 
I believe that the 458 LOTT is the next release and was initially by the end of 2026. With the later releases of the 375, I would guess that the LOTT will be delayed as well.

Tend to lean towards what you're saying as well. Would be great to see the new stock design for the 458/416 to see if it's worth waiting for
 
Nice to see a quality “affordable” option. Hope to see them at SCI in Jan, and happy to see only a few hrs from home!
