I have been torn about selling this double but here it goes. This is a best quality Astra sidelock ejector double with two barrel sets numbered to the gun. The figure in the walnut will make you tear up! The full coverage engraving is very tastefully done. Barrel set 1 is for upland game with 26” length and choked improved cylinder and modified (0.010” and 0.020” construction. Barrel set 2 is for waterfowling with 30” length and both choked extra full (0.050” constriction). The trigger is a manual single selective trigger. The forend is of beaver tail type with push-button takedown. The head of the stock had cracked at some point but was professionally repaired and is stable. I shot a round of sporting clays with it and it is a dream to shoot. I’m asking $2500 OBO for the set. That includes shipping to the lower 48. I will consider a partial trade for a 44-40 toggle-link lever action or Detonics combat master. Will trade straight across for a 378 Weatherby with factory wood or LAR Grizzly 45 win mag pistol. I’m partial to big bore handguns, rifles, and shotguns so if you have ideas for trade let me know!
