I’m at my parent’s house clearing out stuff I’ve had in storage for awhile. I’ll be listing several other items too.

Here is a pair of nice, leather Leg-O-Mutton cases. Restored, they are worth about $225 each. They need minor repairs, a new D ring, a new strap, or a new handle. Also, they need some leather conditioner. Dust included free of charge.

One of them has the original skeleton key that is almost always lost to time! It unlocks a buckle that is normally left in the unlocked position.

One of them accommodates a 16, 20, 28, or .410 bore shotgun, or a drilling, or a combination gun, or a small bore double rifle of 26” total barrel length. The other would accommodate a 12, 16, or 20 gauge shotgun, a drilling, combination gun, or small bore double rifle with 28” barrel length. These were the most common type of case for fine shotguns from Europe retailed in the USA during the 20th century. They were also the most popular case type for Belgian, Austrian, and German shotguns and rifles.

$165 delivered in lower-48 for the PAIR of cases. Payment via Paypal F&F, Zelle, or Venmo.

These cases look like they were made by the Brower leather company in St. Louis Missouri. They have not been in business since the early 1900s. They opened their doors in 1897 I think. Up on top by the buckle there should be four numbers stamped the first two are the stock size. The second two are the barrel length.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!
