John Rigby 450 NE Double Rifle for sale with lifetime ammunition & reloading supplies

Two people have noticed the JJ invoice says 7-57. To be clear, I sent JJ my new HS in 275 Rigby to have the throat opened to accept 175 grain bullets. You see the cost at a total of $300 to do this. Everything else below that is the work JJ did on my Rigby 450 NE. The total invoice shows $3,149 so the work done on my 450 was $2,849 clearly shown as to the exact work done on the rifle.
While JJ does not do bolt action work since he has worked on all 8 of my DRs he opened the throat on my 275 for me.
Hope this clears up any confusion.

I have not. I have shot it many times, and I let several AH members shoot it at my Big Bore shoot this past March. I absolutely on our Big 5 targets on the walking range I created at my Big Bore shoot placed two shots within 1 inch at 50 yards many times and remember I am only an average shot.
Thanks so very much to several members who talked to me about this package. However, just now a member came forth after a phone call with me and is taking the entire package at my asking price. Based on our unwritten rules the first person that says they will take it gets it and I know everyone respects that. He will have 3 days to inspect the rifle while I hold his payment. I did not think it would last a week and it did not. Thanks again for looking but SPF.

I had the glimmer of hope that this would sit until I got back from my safari and I could make a move. I knew it wasn’t likely.

Congratulations I hope the transaction goes smoothly for you both, but yes that would be my ideal rifle as it’s vintage origin with new barrels and truly a gun meant to hunt with.
It just wasn’t in the cards for me at this time to buy it myself although I would love to.
