For Sale, A John Rigby 9.3x62 caliber built in 2018. It will be going on its first Africa hunt with me from 8/6-8/21 in search of Leopard in Namibia. I am sharing it out now. The rifle will be available when I get back on 8/21. Several members have PMd me so I thought I would share it now for people to consider. I am posting pictures as it is right now today 7/22 and I will post pictures again with the date of the post when I get back from my hunt noting any scratches or dings if they happen on the hunt. The reason I am selling is my new Rigby BGR in 404J makes this one somewhat redundant. After my Leopard hunt it will just sit in my safe. It has the following that comes with the sale:

  • John Rigby Certification of Manufacturer.
  • Rigby company target showing the gun’s target showing within 1 MOA.
  • The gun comes with a Leupold VX5 HD 3-15-44 Fire Dot Scope with rings.
  • Gun comes in Rigby case.
  • The rifle has Grade 5 Wood.
  • The rifle has a 4 x 1 loading and capacity.
  • The rifle has the Gold Rigby Add On with the bottom plate.
  • The following is a lifetime supply for reloading:
  • Hornady SP-RP 286 Grain 2 boxes store bought loaded ammunition
  • PPU 200 bullets 285 Grain SP.
  • 75 pieces of PPU unfired brass
  • Barnes 286 Grain TSX 13 Hand loaded cartridges done by me with Big Game Powder well under PSA shooting 2400 FPS.
  • Barnes 286 Grain TSX bullets 6.5 boxes 50-count per box.
  • Speer 270 Grain Hot-Cor bullets 3.25 boxes 50-count per box.
  • Speer 270 Grain Hot-Cor cartridges done by me with Big Game Powder well under PSI shooting 2450 FPS.
  • Swift A-Frame 286 Grain bullets 1.25 boxes 50-count per box.
  • Swift A-Grame 286 Grain 64 Hand loaded cartridges done by me with Big Game Powder well under PSI shooting 2405 FPS.
  • Hornady/PPU 81 pieces of mixed brass 1X fired.
  • Nosler Accubond 250 Grain 2 boxes bullets 50-count
  • 2 sets of dies
  • 1 Crimp die
  • 2 shell holders
  • The reloading supplies with ammunition itself retail for $1,500 if you could get them in the open market think Swift A-Frames.
The gun weighs 7.8 pounds and has a 14 3/4 LOP with a 22-inch barrel.

Total price within US except for CA and AK, $17,500 inclusive of shipping.

Nice rifle.

Good luck on Mr. Spots. Who are you hunting with in Namibia?

Update. My Namibia hunt got pushed out a month for my leopard to 9/12-27. When I get back I will post new pictures with the date. I have lowered the price for everything to $16,000 shipped to you

As a huge fan of all things 9.3mm, I have a serious attraction to this fine firearm. Unfortunately out of my budget as I save for next year's hunt (an pay the taxidermy for last year's hunt) but good Lord she is a beaut. I reaaaaally wish I could take her off your hands. Someone will get a wonderful piece with this rifle. Good luck going after Mr. Spots, I look forward to seeing the report.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!

Who's this C. W. Richter? Seems to have a chip on his shoulder.
