Haven't shot my Roberts much the last few years, kinda got away from it for some reason, so some of the loads and data aren't real fresh. If I recall correctly we were cronographing our top loads in a Remington model 700 well over 3000, however we backed off a bit for our hunting loads. I'd have to look back in my info for exact velocities and loads (wouldn't want to print or share that load anyway - in the wrong gun, would be an accident waiting to happen) Accuracy was outstanding - 5 shot groups well under minute of angle. This woulda been in the early 80's - shortly after Remington brought out the 257 Roberts in the Limited Edition Classic
