Pictured below, the photo on your left is definitely my favorite hunting rifle.
It is a Bruno Model 602 Magnum, caliber .375 H&H.
Shown here with the scope off.
It normally wears a simple but rugged Zeiss 4x in Alaska Arms brand lever rings.
I often remove the scope so the rifle will slide easily into a gun sock for storage.
And from time to time I shoot it with only the iron sights, just to stay familiar with them.

I know the question was regarding everyone’s singular favorite rifle.
But if I didn’t hunt in Africa plus live where there are large and sometimes dangerous bears, I might likely choose the now discontinued CZ Model 550 FS, caliber 6.5x55 Mauser.
Mine is pictured below, (the photo on your right).
It has an also discontinued Leupold 3x scope, in Alaska lever rings on it.
This scope has a very wide field of view and generous range of eye relief.
For moving targets in close cover it is very, very fast.
Yet it is surprisingly adequate for the occasional longer shot at stationary targets, including smaller ones such as coyotes.
It would make a great rifle for a child’s first deer / impala, etc., rifle.
And since I am childish, it’s a great one for me as well.
