I have an as new Schmidt & Bender 3-12x42 Klassik scope with a lighted P3L reticle. The scope has been mounted and boresighted but never fired. Very slight ring mark at one spot, barely visible. Otherwise, scope is in new condition.

Comes with original box and paperwork, lens caps, and cloth and battery. (see pics)

I'm selling it because I'm old school on the focal plane thing and can't seem to get used to 1st focal plane glass, which this scope has where the reticle zooms with the zoom button.

One thing you might want to know is that the elevation turret is the ASV turret which is designed to be set for a range of adjustments and does not spin around completely for a number of revolutions such as on your standard rifle elevation turret and the setup is considered a bonus hunting feature since you can't go outside your elevation's range. This scope is designed to be a hunting scope with a lighted Mil-Dot reticle for low light. The glass is phenomenal. If it weren't for the 1st focal plane reticle, I wouldn't be selling it.

Asking $1475 shipped and insured. The scope is selling for $1700 and is currently waitlisted where you can buy it. This scope is like new and a couple hundred dollars less.

For payment I will accept a personal check from Gold and Silver members, otherwise USPS money orders. I will also accept half check/money order and the other half in trade for precious metals (let me know what metals you have to trade).

I also have the Badger Ordnance Steel rings it was sitting in if you are interested.

If you need to check my feedback, I usually post for sale items in the forum at Accurate Shooter unless it is a particularly hunting related item and not something for competition. My profile is LRH. If you need more pics, let me know.

I’ve always wanted one of these. I can’t get this turret situation through my thick head. Is there 24 mil of adjustment on that elevation dial at 100 meters? There are 48 clicks. Each click is 1/2 CM at 100 meters or 1/2 mil? So 24 mils of elevation on the dial? Help

Adjustments are 1 centimeter at 100 meters. Or, in other words, click value is 1 cm per click at 100 meters.

Ok. I was thinking that would be awfully course but if those clicks were in .1 then there would be very little range of adjustment so I was confused.

It is a hunting scope designed for quick adjustment on the fly. Many hunters I know would simply hold off using the Mil-Dot system, though, and that is the primary reason I purchased it, for the Mil-Dot reticle.
