Daughter does the taxidermy and I do the woodwork. The jumping bass was my idea. Something different than the usual fish-on-the-wall. I still need to plug the screw holes in driftwood. Forgot about that. I used the fancy headless screws to minimize filling.

Ontario-that's beautiful work!

Wow absolutely stunning!

Beautiful! Real skin or fiberglass?
The detail is phenomenal!
These are replicas. Her skin mounts are also top shelf.

The "biscuit" walleye plaque is angle cut poplar stained Minwax golden pecan. The bass base is knotty pine also stained pecan. I will be building another of walnut I think. Client backed out on that one after the form was ordered. It may take residence in my house. I actually caught one that size when I was twelve. The photo is in my mom's scrapbook. I'll have to dig it out and show Jessie.

Bucktail Mepps is not a typical bass lure but I wanted something with only single trailing hooks and with a bit of flash to stand out against the green fish
