Are you near Anchorage? I'll be there next week, you can buy me a beer, then I can reciprocate!

Negative. I am off in the boonies, and well off the road system: Dillingham, 327 miles SW of Anchorage. A raincheck perhaps?

Well hmm I knew that there were alot of running battles in and around the king Ranch back in the 1800s , with mexican rustlers and mexican ranch hands , but didnt know it was still a thing, but makes perfect sense.
About 10-15 million people marched through Central America ,
A Army moves on its stomach
The cartels just provided the logistics with a contaminated food supply , the NWS just traveled to the USA with the food supply in cattle, chickens, pigs.
They have a tick fence and inspection to keep cattle out, but they can’t stop the flies. Once they get to the border. Plus the USA stopped funding the sterile fly program as well, and watched them come up with the mass exodus from south and Central America. “”
In 2023, screwworm annual detections increased in Panama––from around 25 cases to more than 6,500 cases. Screwworm spread northward from Panama through Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, and El Salvador.

In November 2024, a screwworm case was reported in southern Mexico.””

From Fox News:

"Latvian intelligence is warning that Russia is preparing possible military provocations against the Baltic states or Poland, including drones, missiles or other hybrid attacks, in an effort to pressure NATO countries to stop supporting Ukraine.

"We see indications that Russia is preparing military provocations against the Baltic countries or Poland — not a conventional war, because Russia is not capable of that right now, but hybrid attacks, such as missiles, drones or other actions designed to send a signal: stop supporting Ukraine, or you will have your own problems," Latvian intelligence told Fox News Digital."

Thoughts from the military folk on here?

I think that would be economic and military suicide on Russias part… but… I wouldn’t put it past them…

If Ukraine has been able to hold the line with support of European countries this long… what does anyone think when Poland, and other nearby countries start ramping up their own drone factories and capabilities and get directly involved?

And let’s not forget that Europe is still buying stuff from Russia… $31b in goods last year… what happens when those sales dry up?

And then factor in if Russia attacks a NATO state, NATO is required to respond… even as fractured as NATO is right now, what happens when the big boys of NATO even respond with limited assets? Now you’ve got the UK, Germany, France, the US, and others directly involved rather than indirectly…

That’s a whole lot of military and a whole lot of money focused on fucking you rather than the minor amount of money and military that represents Ukraine alone…

My concern would be the larger, global power play where Russia and Iran try to tag team and draw the entire world into war…

Iran ramps up what little it has left to further create oil disruption globally, drawing dozens of minor players in while Russia draws in Europe…

Suddenly we have 30 or more nations at war… all the while China sits on the sidelines waiting it out… so they can dominate the global economy during reconstruction…

I was having a sundowner yesterday and was wondering at what point Putin would use a tactical nuke to 'rebalance' the engagement, that actually scared me a bit when it crossed my mind. I don't think NATO would respond with nukes. Just a real worrisome situation as Putin/Russia gets weaker.

My only input is;

If Russia tries Poland.

It won’t be habit forming.

It's really just Africa and the Middle East growing at this point.

Still want the border closed and a multi decade immigration moratorium.

An America of 100 million with a highly technical economy using AI, quantum computing and data centers with a highly automated industrial sector powered mostly by nuclear energy? Sign me up.

Probably a lot more truth in this statement than Americans would like to admit.

There's no way, it can't be. The TV people told me that implying USAID and NED interferes in elections and essentially became a woke version of what the CIA did in the 50s and 60s was fringe, far right, radical, tin foil hat consipiracy, Russian disinfo, QAnon, Marjorie Taylor Greene talking points. Rachel Maddow wouldn't lie to me.

It's absolutely true though. The two things this administration has done that has made me still feel good about my vote regardless of what other hiccups (and there are many) is....

1. Securing the Southern border
2. Bringing the USAID/NED/NGO complex to heel

This is one of the reasons the Euro's need to be putting their feet on the gas and doing everything possible with whatever war chest they have to gain some political ground while they don't have a hostile regime in DC working against them. They've got about two years left to make some progress, they made some recently with the immigration vote (with chants of "send them back" on the floor, glorious)

One thing Rubio could do though is spend some of that USAID money on supporting good right wing propaganda. I know there was talk about a lack of hype for America's 250, but man there has been some good stuff if you look around (sound on)......

Washington has become such a cliche that many don’t know what a beast he was as a young man. And even as a young soldier.

He was definitely a rare human being.

Putin and Trump both have a problem they started a war with a nation that wont just roll over and give up. I believe Ukraine is putting an immense amount of pressure on Putin and he cant do a thing about it, someone needs to step up in Putin's inner circle and do the deed.
As for Poland ,he is an Idiot if he messes with them, we have troops over there as well. Norway and Finland as well could step up, but I wouldnt count on England.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
