Lange is right there with Patek IMO. I’ve had a Zeitwerk Date for a few years. Nice watches!
No, they're just as tough to get in Europe/England and in many smaller countries (Czech Republic) I find they won't sell to American tourists anyway. It's always worth checking the Rolex AD in the AMS airport (I've gotten lucky there a couple of times), but the days of finding a "deal" on a Rolex in Europe are long gone.
That’s a very nice watch too. I’ve got a buddy with a couple Pateks. While I certainly wouldn’t turn one down, it wouldn’t be my first choice if I won the watch lottery

Yes, it's the age we live in I suppose. However on the bright side, it's also the reason that the value of your new Rolex sports model is approximately +25% over AD retail the minute you take delivery vs losing approx 30-40% of a watch's value on any other brand in that price range. I know that doesn't matter to some people, but it does for me. Find a local Rolex AD and more specifically a sales person there you get on with then set-up your wish list (3 pieces). Stop by periodically for a visit, which confirms you're not just a casual 1 off buyer or flipper and you'll eventually get your Sub, Explorer, Sea Dweller etc. My local Orlando Rolex AD is awesome.
So there i was in the 80s. On a short mountian runway an hour outside cartahena near jardin. On a steep andean runway 500ft too short for my plane and even shorter as overweight as we were...... dieting didnt help. Looked at my brietling and realised one more flight to miami and id get promoted to teaching at the farm and spend the rest of my carreer away from mosquitos in quiet peaceful VA.........Unless you hang out with aviators …

@Nyati do You (or Any AH Member) think that in a few years —- no one will even be able to “tell time” —-certainly NOT on a watch or clock with “hands”…at least no one born after 2000….or on anything other than a digital watch or Smart Phone. The ability to ‘tell time’, read, add numbers (without a computer), and write or sign your name ———-might all be gone. Today’s High priced Watches (and pencils & pens) could become valuable “artifacts” from a primitive Civilization.
You should buy another rifle. That way you have something to hand down to the next generation, because your phone isn't going to make it.
