I saw a headline earlier today “Musk is first trillionaire more wealth inequality in America.”
I heard that 4000 of his employees where made millionaires today and 400 where 100 millionaires.

Yep, the American dream is certainly dead. Just because many of those folks worked for 2 decades to get this payday, maybe we should wealth tax them into poverty!

It is sad that we are piling up all enlisted as taking advantage of the VA. Maybe this conversation should be focused on the parasites who are draining this great country dry by abusing all the free programs we have. Afterall, those who are claimed to be taking advantage of the VA served their country. What have the freeloaders done?
Absolutely. The country promised to take care of people who signed up so we should keep are word. After all as you pointed out our country pays gobs of money to people who are not even Americans and I’m sure if we tally up the money given to illegals for decades and the many many recipients of welfare or other social benefits that didn’t need them any possible money used by the va inappropriately would be a drop in the bucket. I have quite a few friends over the years that were infantry combat vets in gwot all on disability, all still work, and all deserve the money they receive. with the injuries some of them have they definitely deserve more.

I will agree as a whole our society is less physical than the past. We are overweight and comfort can be a neurotoxin. Most Americans live an easier life than prior generations. From the war fighter at the tip of the spear perspective, I know we do far more than any generation before us. We fight / fought harder with more recorded valorous acts on a daily basis. Valor awards now are often harder to have processed than prior generations. A soldier in Vietnam could not imagine banging out multiple raids a night, 7 days a week. For months on end.
I served 30+ years in the military in various capacities and I have next to no use for the VA. My personal experience has been that they delay, stonewall, refuse treatment much more often than they actually help one of us. I fought with them fo 10 years to get hearing aids while I was still in the reserves. I had annual hearing tests which clearly showed decreased hearing loss and they always found some excuse to deny me hearing aids. I finally purchased them at Costco.
I limit my contact with them to my annual visit to remain in the system. I go in one week to piss and bleed and back the next week to chat with the doctor. All my other health issues are conducted with the appropriate civilian specialist all covered by Medicare and Tricare.
I firmly believe that anyone who has a valid DD214 should receive any and all health care he(she) requests free of any financial cost, if they wish to endure the VA bureaucracy. We have served, suffered and are duly entitled to such.

Right now I am waiting for them to figure out how to mail a check. Talked to them last Thursday and they said I had two checks mailed to me. I have seen neither. They have my address is verified with them. So far not real impressed with the VA not that I need them as bad as others by a far cry. We will wait and see what happens but so far not impressed.

My experience with the VA has been the same.

Well, I for one am sick and tired of hearing about "non-combat arms MOS..."

As if guys in the combat trains never saw an IED. Or no one ever shot at a maintenance contact team. Or flight line people never heard a jet engine. Or guys on the deck of a carrier, or doing an UNREP were not working in a dangerous environment. Or no one ever humped a pack or ran, or drank the water at Camp Lejeune. Because the guy handling the static wand before rigging a load to the underside of a CH-53 did not just ground out 200,000 volts. Because a guy running romex on a construction site is exactly the same thing as a guy servicing a MEP003 on a FOB, or the guy hanging sidewinder missiles or 500# bombs on an F-18 is exactly the same as a baggage handler at JFK, or living in a SICPS tent for a year after your 15 hour day is the same thing as commuting home after you got paid time and a half because you did a 9 hour day... Malaria, Yellow Fever, Anthrax, and Schistosomiasis have been completely eradicated everywhere on the globe. Yeah, scammers and fraudsters all.

I hate fraud too. I'm willing to consider stoning as a suitable punishment for fraud. But I'm absolutely appalled by all the people who have absolutely no idea what it takes to support that grunt.

Speaking of “drank the water at Camp Lejeune”, I may or may not know a guy who drank the water in the Shit River at NAS Cubi
Point. I wonder if there is a VA rating for that intestinal mess?
For those that aren’t familiar with said body of water, it tries to keep the young Marines and Sailors out of the adult Disneyland known as Olongapo…hahahahaha

I saw a headline earlier today “Musk is first trillionaire more wealth inequality in America.”

What I read is that janitors and cafeteria workers became multi-millionaires yesterday.

Today alot of 18 year olds dont qualify for the military because theyre so overweight and out of shape , they now offer pre enlistment " physical classes.
My partner’s nephew was the opposite, at 6.6” he was borderline on weight. He followed his lather’s footsteps and joined the Marines a few years ago. His recruiter told him to slouch during the physical. They put him on double rations during boot camp at Camp Pendleton!!!

Sanders was saying government should own 50% of Space X and any future AI IPOs to make sure of fairness. Warren wrote to SEC to stop the IPO. Communists are having a conniption.

The VA stopped mailing my VA disability cheques more than thirty years ago I'm guessing. Didn't think they even allowed that any longer. The funds are direct deposited into my Montana bank account. Why would you want to risk having the cheques stolen or lost in the mail?

In the future there will be an alternate reality people can go off into and live for a while.

It would be nice if Pocahontas and Bernie and their followers could go live in that alternate universe right now.

Where millionaires and billionaires wealth. Realized, and unrealized is confiscated. All of their property, liquid or otherwise confiscated by the treasury. Given to Bernie and Warren to spend “Fairly”. Then in two years when it’s all gone, I’d like to see what Bernie and Pocahontas pull out of their hat.

Bernie and Pocahontas have never run a business or generated anything.
So they do not know that if something is generating revenue, you don’t sell it or get rid of it. (The billionaires). You let it keep handing you money.

Getting rid of it might work for the short term. But future revenue is King.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
