I’m looking to buy a barrel for a 600 Overkill project and for a 700 AHR project. If anyone has one of these barrels to sell, perhaps from your own project that didn't work out. Or, if you know of someone that has one, I’ll pay you a finder’s fee.

I’ve already called or emailed every barrel maker in the US that I could Find, and they all said that they no longer make these sizes, or never made them.

did you check with Krieger barrels in Wisconsin?

I did, I called and unfortunately they said that they updated their offerings and that these sizes are no longer available. Their downloadable catalog still lists them, but the size selector on their website no longer does. I have to call them back to see if they will do a special run, but every other one I called said their min run size is 100 barrels.

Here’s a list of the ones I contacted that said no:
  1. Pac nor - no longer made, a fire destroyed their tooling and equipment.
  2. Lilja
  3. Krieger - these used to, still listed in their online catalog, but said no when I called them.
  4. Lother Walther - can not import above a 50 BMG barrel, 600/700 NE barrels made in Europe only.
  5. Bartlein
  6. Brux
  7. Hart
  8. Schneider
  9. Benchmark barrel
  10. Shilen
  11. Proof research
  12. Shaw - they discontinued 416 sizes
  13. Hawk hill custom
  14. Criterion barrels - only to 338 size
  15. Vortakt barrel works…maybe, min order size would be 100.
  16. Mcgowen precision - maybe, but unlikely, another guy asked for 600 NE but the boss man said no.
  17. Green mountain rifle barrel - maybe, min order size would be 100.
  18. Douglas barrels - emailed, no reply.

find someone in Europe that will buy one for you ... and then privately send it to you ... I'm sure someone would help you ... and offer them a finders fee for their trouble.

Check with Wayne at AHR. He may have one still. I know he recently completed an OK.

That’s what I was thinking. That helps me obtain the 600 overkill barrel, but they said they don't make the 0.685 barrel, only the 700 NE one. So still need to search for a European maker to get that one.

I emailed Wayne about finding brass, and he thankfully helped with that, but he didn't mention having any barrels on hand. He wished me luck in finding one, and said if I did, to contact him before I order the action from GMA.

Corey James should have one on hand, he's out of Louisiana, his place is Bayou Advanced Weapon Systems. He's currently redoing his website, so give him a call or text. I believe MNR might also be a viable options.

Also, Ed Hubel is no longer with us. Wonderful man who truly enjoyed what he did.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
