I unexpectedly ended up with this in a trade. Many of you know I am left handed, so this will not be of much use to me. I don't know much about this rifle, but it came from an old man who doesn't appear to have fired it much (or at all, possibly) based on the look of the bolt. It does not look like it was well stored as there are a few scratches in the stock and one spot on the barrel with some light thinning of the bluing in places. All are pretty minor and I did my best to show them in the pictures. Overall the gun is in very good condition and appears to function properly. Comes with CZ original rings. Looking to get $2000 (the value of the trade) plus shipping (will ship in a hard plastic case inside a cardboard box), or if by some chance, a righty finds himself in a similar position with a left handed bolt in a large caliber or some thing of special interest, we could talk about a trade option. Also willing to consider trades on European single shot rifles.

Pm about possible trade

Does it have the set trigger?

One thing worth noting- this is a prime candidate for CZ upgrade with Matrix and I know for a fact that they have 2 American style stocks for sale that could be used on this as part of an upgrade. One is exceptionally nice. Color is normal on the first 2 pics, not sure why the rest came out so red.

I have played with this a rifle a bit since getting it. While I do not have ammo to shoot it, I will say everything functions well (the set trigger is amazing!) and despite the few minor imperfections this should be a great rifle for someone. I realize the hogback stock is not everyone's cup of tea, but it is designed for a reason and does a great job mitigating recoil. The scratches in it could easily be fixed as well. There is also the option to buy the American style stock from Matrix for a reasonable price. I have intentionally priced it at the lower end of every thing I could find online to give people room to do upgrades/ Stock replacement and still be in it well. Also, don't be afraid to throw out trade offers- worst that will happen is I say no.

Mine was delivered in October, I believe. About the same time that he re-did his shop with the new CNC machinery. He had to knock walls and all sorts of things.

This rig would like a home where it will be shot and hunted….

Have gotten a lot of interesting trade offers, just nothing I wanted to jump on yet. Keep em coming fellas!

Do you need a good 4 wheeler, Mr. Grant??? Haha

If anyone has a 450/400 No. 1 they would want to trade for this, I'd be very interested.

@Albert GRANT , sorry for poaching ur thread…

Tim had a large backlog of builds due to his old Bridgeport becoming “in-repairable “ ( a lot of his upgrades have his custom machined parts and hence sat in limbo:(
Getting the new machine into his shop would have put most guys down, certainly me.
But now it is up and running, cutting chips, and the builds are moving out (he was down to the Springs with 8 barreled actions for coating:)
We have given him feedback that falling into the smith trap of delay, delay is bad business.

The other day, he had 4 stations going, the laser lasing, the lathe lathing, the CNC machinging,
And the smith, smithing, all at the same time.:)
Hopefully, there is light at the end of everyone’s tunnel.
Steve

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
