About done trying to find a load

I have been trying different powders. I'm going to try nosler 168 lr accubonds this weeek
The ABLR is quite a jump sensitive bullet.
When working with them, I usually start with seating depth tests, using a mid-level powder charge.
Two of each length, starting at 0.020” off the lands, or magazine length and going 0.005” deeper. (You don’t need more than two. They’re either closing up or opening)
Once I’ve established the preferred seating depth, I’ll start increasing the charge weights.

That InterLock soft point is a proven, tough old school bullet that expands reliably and penetrates well enough out of a fast 7 Mag. Plenty of folks have used similar 139-150gr loads successfully on African plains game including kudu with good shot placement lungs/heart, not shoulders on bigger stuff. It's not the absolute best terminal performer heavier bonded or controlled expansion like Accubond Partition GameKing can edge it out on heavy bone, but the mixed reviews mostly come down to velocity and hit location, not the bullet being questionable.

Your rifle loves it and hates the others that's huge on a hunt. Accuracy beats marginal terminal gains every time. Try the 150 Sierra Tipped GameKing quick, but if the Hornady is already sub MOA, I'd just roll with it and hunt confidently. No need for a new rifle unless you really want one.

I have found that in every rifle that I have hand loaded for that Hornady interlocks and Nosler partitions of the same weight shoot identicaly. The same loads with the same results except the partition is a tougher bullet with better penetration on larger game. Just something to try.

I hope so. I'm getting mixed reviews on terminal performance with the sierra game changer

The Tikka magazine for long action cartridges is pretty short COAL wise. Because of this, I tend to steer away from the long high BC bullets in Tikkas of this configuration. It requires deep seating, jump, etc. The Barnes TTSX is a great option because you don’t need to use heavier options if you can pump up velocity, which you can in a 7mm Rem Mag.

I noticed someone mentioned establishing a baseline with factory ammo. Here is an example of how “consistent” Federal Blue Box is:

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
