2024 TAXIDERMY BILL / 8 ANIMALS-$18K

Following to see what the final shipping costs will be. I would be very interested to see what the air freight rate would be for the US ? I have always had the flat skins and head/hjorns shipped for my taxidermist.

NOT YET, ANXIOUS TO GET THAT PROCCESS GOING. BEEN OVER A MONTH SINCE INVOICE WAS PAID.

Same here...... I'm waiting for my own shipment with the invoice already paid. First time hunters must plan for the post-hunt costs. The backend costs of safari hunting roughly equals or exceeds the cost of the hunt itself.

Have you asked them on the status? I would say from past experience (not with them) that you are probably a month or two from shipping.

Because of the rising prices of taxidermy, I'll be doing euro mounts from now on. Unless it is something magnificent.

Congrats to your son and granddaughter! Lot of wonderful memories. That giraffe was expensive !

My 2025 taxidermy bill for 8 animals- 5 shoulder mounts- kudu, sable, waterbuck, gemsbok and impala, a full size steenbok, 1/2 mount nyala , zebra rug , and nyala back skin was $9167. That included crating. The crate dimensions ended up 181 x 123 x 111 CM and weighs 179 KG'S.
Airfreight to SEA was $4474.
After nearly 3 months of delays caused by Delta Cargo, my crate is now on a slow truck from LAX to SEA. and is expected to arrive there next Monday for customs clearance. Freight for the final leg to MT is still undetermined.

Everyone wants to be rich and it’s driving up the cost of everything
