I purchased this rifle at Wanenmachers early this month and decided I want to get a rifle of a higher caliber or with a threaded barrel for a suppressor instead after my Africa hunt where I shot a suppressed rifle for the first time. I don’t know too much about it other than it’s 7mm Mauser and a Mauser action. There is a crest on the receiver but it is concealed by the scope mounts and I haven’t taken them off(I can take them off to confirm for a serious buyer). Scope is a leupold 3-9 Vari-X II. I has a pretty nice mannlicher stock with a few minor handling marks. Bore has strong rifling. Blueing is very nice other than the bolt which seems to be in the white. Any other questions ask away and I will try to answer to the best of my ability. Looking for $1,100 shipped to your FFL via my FFL in lower 48. Reasonable offers will be considered as well. Rifle is located in OKC metro if anyone local if anyone local would be interested for a reduced price. Would be interested in trading and adding money for a Ruger bolt action in 375 H&H, 416 Rigby or 458. Thanks for the consideration.

Do you have the rear iron sight?

Nice looking rifle. Based on my reference book by Ludwig Olson "Mauser Bolt Rifles", it appears that this was built on a Venezuelan Model 1924/30 Short Rifle action by FN. That is a solid sporting rifle, and GLWS!

PS - I recall that I stopped a guy waking the aisle at that show and asked him about the 7x57 he was carrying. Was that you? Now I can't remember if it was this rifle or not. :-)

Lol, yep; I bet one of those people was me. I was there from 9am to almost 5pm covering all those aisles. :)

Price dropped to $1050 shipped to your FFL.

Will trade and can add money for a rifle in 375 H&H, 416 Rigby or higher caliber.

Good. Thanks for getting back to me, Bro. Happy Father's Day!

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!

Who's this C. W. Richter? Seems to have a chip on his shoulder.
