We’re kicking off the 2026 season at Tallyho with a fresh look and plenty of upgrades across the farm. From lodge revamps to some much-needed blind upgrades and clean-ups — along with a few brand-new blinds — it’s been a busy start getting everything ready for the season ahead.

This thread will be a running collection of highlights from our 2026 season — from early morning sunrises and wildlife sightings to memorable hunts as the year unfolds.

For now, we’re starting with a few glimpses of the land, the animals, and the atmosphere that makes this place what it is. As the season progresses, we’ll keep adding more captured moments and stories along the way.

Stay tuned — plenty more to come.

We love seeing our herds thrive — strong, healthy and growing in numbers.
This is exactly what we work towards: healthy animals, natural balance, and a truly self-sustainable farm.

Not done yet, but what a difference already

New chalet flooring has gone in and the space is already feeling completely transformed. Just waiting on that final coat of paint to bring it all together

Painting has been completed, one shade lighter to tie in the new floors. Now onto deep cleaning we go.

It's always special welcoming familiar faces back to camp. This is his third hunt with us, and this time he brought his son along to share the adventure. The young man celebrated his first day with a beautiful impala ram.
Dragging tyres through the bush to help us spot fresh buffalo tracks and get ready for the hunt ahead. We were also treated to a fantastic giraffe sighting along the way. The African bush always has a way of keeping things interesting.
A great start to what promises to be an exciting week in the African bush.

What a day for the young hunter! After some excellent walk-and-stalk hunting he managed to take a stunning golden wildebeest, a great warthog boar, and a beautiful blesbuck ram. A day he'll remember for a long time and one that left plenty of smiles around camp.

Meanwhile, the buffalo hunt continued.

For two days, the team has hunted hard, covering miles on foot and spending hours tracking through thick brush and sekelbos. There have been plenty of close encounters, with careful stalks, crawling into position, and working every opportunity that presented itself.

As Stuart likes to say, our buffalo know all the best "hidey holes." Twice they've managed to slip away just when it seemed the opportunity was within reach.

That's buffalo hunting. Challenging, unpredictable, and earned every step of the way. The determination is there, the sign is fresh, and tomorrow is another day in the bush.

The persistence did pay off with a fantastic warthog boar for Dad—a really nice pig and a well-earned trophy after all the miles covered.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
