Has anyone use Dan Martin of Reflections of the wild taxidermy out of deer park Maryland?

I have some crow to eat. Let me begin by saying that I know I have a problem I need to work on. I am generally a nervous person. I have a PTSD disability thru the VA (I am Retired Army - 2 Combat tours) and my counselor there says my nervousness is because of my PTSD. I do not know if that is the case, but that's what they tell me.
Missy called me from Reflections of the Wild. She, very professionally, went over everything that has happened with my "stuff". When I spoke about my contract being late, I was wrong. I can't get the contract until they get the stuff back from the tannery to even see what they are working with and they just got stuff back from the tannery - so that's on me.
My nervousness led to me making some comments on here that I shouldn't have.

It's wonderful to hear things are moving in the right direction! And I'm super proud of you for coming on here to tell of the misunderstanding, it takes a quality person to do that!! Out of curiosity, how far from Dan and Missy do you live?

About 3 1/2 hours east.

Figured I’d update this thread with the finished product incase anyone was in the same boat as me. This is our final product. I’m very happy with the animals except my pedestal is a bit of a pain to move. Excellent working with Dan and his wife missy for a second time

You have some very nice mounts, I especially like the blue wildebeest pedestal mount, and having your lechwe mounted in a wall pedestal style really shows off the black on it's front leg/shoulder area! Thank you for sharing these wonderful trophies with us!

I should have clarified that the first picture with the blue wildebeest is my buddy and his stuff. It did turn out great, I was very glad I went with the wall pedestal on the lechwe

I'm with Andrew 62 - that Blue wildebeest mount looks killer awesome. And really liking the lechwe, springbok and impala, they look dandy.

The group pedestal is a bit too busy for me - I really don't focus on any of the animals. But the workmanship looks fine. My apologies for a negative comment - just a personal thing.

@migrabill, that pedestal kudu is outstanding! The wildebeest shield is very unique, looks awesome!

To each their own, I do somewhat agree that it takes away from the other animals on their own

Beautiful mounts. Dan has done both my African hunts and I am very pleased.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
