To me it’s like looking through a dirty windshield, you have to learn to look around the dirt specks, if look at them you’ll go crazy.

Hearing aids can help.
I called the tinnitus help line. No one answered. Just kept ringing.

Talk with your doctor, there are hearing aids that helps. For some therapy helps, learning to move focus.
For me stress makes my tinnitus worse (same with some medicines).

Unfortunately not, you just have to live with it.
I have a Tinnitus in my right ear since 1977, it came from diving. I got used to it quickly and actually I get rather a bit anxious when it is fewer audible for a while. All joking aside, I know that Tinnitus is a heavy burden for some people in their daily lives.

Nothing to do but learn to tune it out… for some folks it can be high blood pressure related but for most of us, it is just a constant nuisance.

For myself found alcohol makes it louder. Sometimes coffee.
One surprising thing. When I got into the bush in Zambezi valley one September. it was less or almost not noticeable. Maybe first time in my life. I hope to go back and see.
That's what sucks. Sitting trying to enjoy the quiet places.

For me watching my Diet helps. Some foods, and high caffeine drinks make it much worse

No relief here. Really bothers me trying to go to sleep so I use meditation apps on my phone to mask it.
I’m at the verge of getting hearing aids and I hear some of them can give a little bit of help.
I really feel like the medical community is missing a big business opportunity. An effective treatment would be sold to a lot of people.

White noise - fan or noise machine helps a bit when working or trying to sleep.
Don’t know of anything that reduces it - struggled with it for 20+ years.

Soft classical music in the background, especially when trying to go to sleep, helps the brain focus on something rather than the ringing. Having said that, check for high blood pressure which can cause it and is correctable.

As said above hearing aids helped mine as I can tell a big difference when wearing them.
