Will you have a booth in Atlanta or Nashville? If so what's the booth number?

I won’t be having my own booths but I will be at the following : Atlanta DSC 2472/4/6 and Nashville SCI 1969

Man I want to do this so baaaaad! As soon as I get my kids finished with college I'm there.

ME TOO, LOOK FOR YOU IN ATL.

I will personally vouch for Wayne and his crew that they run a great hunt. I did this hunt with him in 2024 and plan to go back again with him next year for another elephant.

I’m still a rookie with a lot of this. What can be expected as far as tusk weight?

Also, if a shoulder mount is wanted, what do you charge for that, I’ve never heard of having to buy the skin but that’s probably normal.

The Taxidermist would have to answer that…but it ain’t cheap and it’s huge if you have ever seen one in person up close. You need a BIG room and wall

About 10 feet wide ear tip to ear tip. Can stick out almost 10' from the wall and/or be almost 10' tall with both of those depending upon trunk position.

I don't have one done but checked into having Kanati do a replica about 10 years ago. And Wild Images in Motion has done a few both replica and actual skin mounts.

Hi Carson basically $350 a panel and there are 6 panels . If I was charging $20000 for a trophy fee like most other guys you’d then keep all the skin no problem . For me it’s making a little bit extra to cover fuel and salt. Salt itself is not expensive it’s getting it to camp that’s a expense. But just to let you know the same elephants next door in the Forestry concessions sell for $20000 and ontop of that day rate is another $1500 - $1800 a day X 15 days. So I do believe my offer is pretty reasonable .

I can completely see that, I hope my question didn’t come off aggressive at all, I was just curious. I’m rather new to Africa so there is a lot I don’t know yet and I’m just trying to figure it out. I’m hoping to do an elephant hunt in a couple years so I’m trying to gather the info right now. Excellent answers and as you stated it’s a very reasonable hunt.

Excellent info there, in my mind I was imagining something closer to 6’ square instead of 10’! I think I could curl the trunk and still get it to hang over my bed!

You are single and plan to stay that way aren't you? ;)

You need to ask questions for sure and do your research that’s how you learn. All the best on your quest to hunt a elephant bull . Happy to help and answer any questions no stress at all .

About $20,000 for shoulder mount , I have been told a couple years ago, unless you do a replica which is cheaper and lighter to hang.

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
