35 Whelen Ruger Hawkeye african

I love mine and have just ordered a front sight from NECG. The stock front blade/bead was too tall and I shot low and couldn't adjust any more. Mine is in 35 Whelen and i have gotten sub moa groups with at least two kinds of factory ammo. (Hornady 200 gr and Nosler 225 accubonds) I did add a new trigger spring, recoil pad, Alaska arms qd rings and floorplate (after the picture) I know it's a deer and not African game but the experience of the 35 whelen has made me wish I would have owned one all my life.

Try cfe223. Gives higher velocities and great accuracy.
You should be able to get those 225s up to around 2,900fps

And so I did, with the Barnes anyway, top charge of 70 grains on center target was a winner, good stuff!

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
