To all our American AH brothers, happy Independence Day! Celebrate well!

Thank you very much! A favorite holiday around these parts

I actually saw this on a Fb page on Friday. I like the sentiment.

Independence day means being able and free to celebrate with my family. These lovelies fishing by the house today was so much fun.

To all of the Americans and American military veterans

Happy Independence Day to all the American AH members, American military veterans, (and the French....whose ancestors aided in America's victory over England).

3 Cuties.
Gotta ask: (of the day)
Which one caught the first fish?
Which one caught the biggest fish?
Which one caught the most fish?

Obviously dad didn't get to fish.
Baiting hooks. Getting lines out of those weeds and taking fish off the hooks. And grilling, and prepping the backyard fireworks.

“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
– Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759.

God Bless America. Happy Independence Day.

From the musical 1776. The ending of this song resonated with me as a 8 year old kid in 1972.

First fish - dad (littles don't start until someone else does)
Biggest fish - grandpa
Most fish - dad (spent the longest time fishing)
All of them caught at least two or three
Not much maintenance time - mostly just talking and smiling and touching the icky fish.....
Great fun watching cousins bond and grow up together.
It was fun listening to dad tell stories of how he learned to fish from his dad and grandpa.

Now that's quality family time, creating family tradition, and the future generation of outdoorsman...ah outdoors women.....and perhaps passing along some family folklore of the "big one that got away":P Fisherman::E Rofl:.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
