Folks, I was able to get my book from Jaayunoo. I first paid by PayPal and then she refunded my money and indicated that given the way things were going on the site she would prefer to do the transaction in person. It so happened my son was going to be in Dallas visiting his girl friend and he was able to meet Jaayunoo at a public place and pay cash for the book. I recently verified on my cc statement that I did receive the PayPal refund. So it was all good for me.

When her account was closed by PayPal, refunds were issued by PayPal.

Two members have NOT received products purchased or refunds. This suggests deception, scamming, and theft.

@krish and I speak almost daily. I know he is a man of his word. He even text me saying he would give her time and grace in this situation. Enough time had elapsed and nothing has come to fruition. That begs the question of “Why?”

Actually yes. Said she shipped book and I would receive. Then received a PayPal refund!?!?! She said too late to stop shipment, when book is received, we would work out payment. To be fair, she has communicated well with me, though I doubt a book was ever actually shipped.

I first reached out to @Jaayunoo by PM and told her that I would like a book but don’t do PayPal. She never responded until she said that she had two books left because two people backed out of the deal. I asked her a few more questions with not real great responses. I then reached out @Andrew Short by PM and ask him how his dealings with her went at that time he said fine no issues (note this was very early on).

After all that there were to many RED flags for me and I never went any further.

There’s no reason to speak like that on the forum. We are all adults here and capable of communicating in an appropriate fashion.

I can assure you @krish is very well capabale of handling his own business. No one needs to check for him. If he had a refund, he would know.

When you provided me tracking for the second time, the tracking number was cancelled. You said you would handle it but expected me to pay via Venmo… you cancelled the Venmo request before I could send $ as I was providing care in the hospital.

No i did not get refund. That is a fact. Prove you refunded my money. If you don't have proof then you are lying.

I feel bad for my AH friends on this thread. I wonder if there is a way @AfricaHunting.com could add more to our profile picture that would include satisfactory buy/sell/hunt reports so people can determine who has a prior track record as an honest dealer? Basically, an easy-to-view equivalent of an eBay reputation rating?

For what its worth, it seems like Safaripress.com is having a heck of a sale right now, especially on the 2nd volume of this series that just went down to a mere $17 a copy. It might be worth keeping an eye out in case the volume 1 that is out of print happens to appear or go on sale. I sold my backup copies so I can't help you out on volume 1. (other than to say its an excellent resource)

If anyone needs a few pages from the book, let me know and I can snap a couple pics and PM you if you're just looking for a few facts under fair use doctrine.
