Congrats on a great safari! Sounds like a place I would like to hunt someday. I’m glad you didn’t let any of the increased virus travel BS keep you from going! People need to keep living their lives and traveling. My hat’s off to you for some great shooting as well.
Thanks Scott! After this trip I can say for sure there is nothing keeping people from traveling but themselves. Yes wearing a mask and testing is trouble but other than that all was normal. Most of us flew business class and no mask required there!

Thank you for your report. I appreciate the educational aspects of your hunts. I always learn something. Keep up the good work and the good writing! Your friend Brian
Brian thank you so very much.

Congratulations on a very successful return to where your journey began. Thanks for the report. Any chance you will be getting some of your first timers to post about their experiences?

A great hunt with some fine animals. Congratulations!

Yes when I flew in June, we weren’t really wearing masks in business class. That was nice. Nobody said a word.

I certainly need to. Thanks

I too had an amazing Safari with Frontier in 2019. Barry’s hospitality and facilities are 1st rate. I really like the Golden Wildebeest - never seen one!! What caliber did you use for the Duiker and Oribi?

After re reading your great report I assume you used the 300 Win. My next safari I’d like to chase some of the Tiny Ten but didn’t know if .300 Win was too much gun.

Blue Duiker was a shotgun and Oribi was a .300Win.

On a different safari where I was after many of the tiny's I used my Ruger 5.56 with Barnes bullets and did very well

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
