Based on reviews etc. I called Americase for a double rifle takedown case for two rifles. As of January 1 they are no longer manufacturing gun cases.

They said their instrument case business is off the charts and gun case sales were low and did not have as much of a margin so they decided to focus all their resources on what sells.

That’s hard to believe. I am glad I got the three gun Safari case back in October now.

That is a shame as they built me a great custom two case to hold my double and a bolt rifle.

The musical instruments sales skyrocketed this past year with covid. The big question is how many people will stick with the new hobby. Certainly more than pre-covid. I suspect they will be making gun cases again in some capacity the new few years.

My bad. I was talking about lab instruments etc., not musical.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
