This Barrel is in a custom magnum length of 25 5/8 inches. This gives an effective barrel length from the bolt face to the front of the barrel 24 3/4 inches. The standard barrel is 22 5/8 inches, with an effective barrel of 21 3/4 Inches. Cost over $1600.00 and a year weight. In like new condition, standard contour, no sights, around a box of ammunition thru it. I would like to trade for a leupold vx6 hd 2-12, or something similar. CONUS only.

Forgot to add , prefer an illuminated reticle/dot.

Is selling it an option? Do you have a picture?
Preferably trade 1st, if no trades then yes. I can take a picture, but it basically looks like any new magnum length barrel with no blemishes.

No trade, so I am now selling. $1025.00 includes insured shipping in the CONUS only. You will not find this barrel anywhere unless you custom order it, pay over $1600.00, and have a long wait.

Lkhntr, question, does the barrel come with the magazine insert! Just curious. 1:10 standard twist? Sounds like a good deal IMO.
Thanks

Yes it is a good deal, but no magazine is included. All 30 caliber Blaser barrels from 308 to 300wby, and everything in between are 1 in 11 twist.

My Sako 75 30/06 shoots great with 1 in 11 twist. Should be fine with any bullet weights through 220 grains I would think.

The little ammo I did shoot was Corbon 168gr T-DPX ammunition, which I believe use the 168gr TTSX bullets from Barnes. Been a few years since I shot it, I thought I had shot Double Tap ammo, I found my notes and turns out it was Corbon. For the speed chasers my MagnetoSpeed gave me an average of 2950fps, not sure how handloads would do, but you know this longer barrel velocity will/should be better than in the shorter standard barrel. Still asking $1025.00 vs the $1600.00 if you special ordered new from the factory, includes insured shipping in the CONUS.

TTT with pictures this time. This is a unique 3" longer custom barrel, that is not neutered by the 21 3/4" effective barrel length of the standard 30-06 barrel. Still asking $1025.00 vs $1600.00, and the long wait if you custom ordered.

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
